Being in quarantine this past month has taught me a lot about myself. We're all forced to go within ourselves which, to me, is such a blessing being able to really dive deep into our thoughts and feelings.
So, in this episode, I want to talk to you about one thing I’ve learned about myself as I reflect during this quarantine. I took a trip down memory lane to look at the person I was in my past and the person I am now as a mom and a multi seven-figure business owner and what I realized is that a lot the big and difficult decisions I’ve made that have lead me to where I am now, have been based on my intuition.
I haven't gone to an Ivy League school, I don’t have a fancy piece of paper that shows my credentials, but what I have is the life I have now, the business that I've built, my family, and my team! I didn’t need all of the accolades and academic achievements to be blessed with so much. I have all these things because I followed my intuition and trusted in it one hundred percent!
In case you need to hear it today, you are enough! We all have the power within ourselves to lead a happy and meaningful life only if we listen and honor our instincts.

“Roxelle has such a powerful and inspiring voice. I keep coming back weekly for inspiration, as well as tips on entrepreneurship, and life in general. I also find the topics on mental health and self-care very helpful. She is such a down to earth person despite her success. I just love her vibe! Whenever I listen to her podcast, I imagine being in Hawaii and all the good, simple things in life. Thanks for bringing some Aloha into my day :)”

Aloha and welcome to the Dream Into it Podcast. I'm Roxelle Cho coming to you from my hometown, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. After building a multiple seven figure swimwear brand from a dream starting in my garage, I became curious into learning how my thoughts created the reality around me.
This is the Dream Into it Podcast where we will look into how powerful inspired, motivated women like myself are able to rewrite the stories of their lives and step into their power. I am so excited to be able to join you on your journey of stepping into your potential and creating the life of your dreams. Mahalo for being here today, let's dream into it!
Roxelle: Hey Moomie.
Kid: Hey mama.
Roxelle: Ooh. Hi. We're back with another mini-episode. I'm excited again to dig into what you have in mind. What's on your mind today? Like what could we talk about here for all those with their kids that are listening today?
Kid: Losing like a winner.
Roxelle: Losing like a winner. That sounds kind of like it's contradicting itself there. Could you explain to me when there are times that you would have to lose like a winner?
Kid: Act like you're winning.
Roxelle: Does that happen often in our house?
Roxelle: Yes? Like what kind of things do you sometimes do that?
Roxelle: Chess? But you also sometimes win at those things you are pretty good at chess. You beat me a couple of times as well.
Roxelle: So like this concept of losing like a winner, what does that involve? What does that look like?
Kid: You could lose but you actually feel like you're going to win.
Roxelle: Really? And when you get so excited, I see it sometimes, cause mommy does that a lot, right? I lose like a winner quite a lot actually, but isn't it so much more fun at the end of it?
Because sometimes when you used to lose, you used to get a little bit upset at times, right? And that wasn't fun. But now we got this new concept-losing like a winner. Basically what happens, even when we're kind of like losing?
Kid: You just act like you win.
Roxelle: I'm noticing too that we have a lot more fun. Because at the end of the night, we all just are laughing cause it's so funny - losing like a winner. Do you know that's kind of what I do even in business?
Roxelle: You know, it's like our thoughts, right? Mommy always tells you what we think is kind of true and it becomes our reality.
So, you know, I'm glad that you kind of like took that concept and you've even been using it on Mario kart. I see. Because sometimes - like what place are you in when you're challenging your auntie and I?
Kid: Like 6th or 7th.
Roxelle: Yeah, and then sometimes 12th.
Sometimes I'm in 12th place too, but I feel like I'm winning.
Kid: Sometimes I beat you too.
Roxelle: Yes, you do. And then there are times where like, I'm in 12th place and I'm like, "Yay, I'm winning. I'm winning!" But really, losing. But if we can reframe the word losing, right. We can just be excited all the time and happy, and I think that's kind of cool.
Roxelle: So maybe like losing like a winner is a new thing.
Kid: You still got points.
Roxelle: We still got points. And everyday we still wake up super excited and happy. So I think our tip for today's mini-episode, for any kids that are listening today, what would it be to them? What do you want to tell them?
Kid: Lose like a winner.
Roxelle: You got a little song going on, lose like a winner.
I love that. I love that little term you got going. So thanks for blessing us with your knowledge today in this mini-episode. And I hope that the kids who are listening in with their parents today are enjoying all of the fun that we have behind the microphone. And I hope it goes out into the world and then they are able to have fun as well and lose like a winner.
Alright. Aloha everybody.
