The New Year is almost here. And, more than just a new year, 2020 is an entirely new decade, the Roaring 20s of the millennium! It’s a big deal, which is why you want your 2020 resolutions to be some of the biggest you’ve ever set.
We believe that goal setting is an important exercise in changing your life for the better. As humans, we need a plan. We need something to look forward to, and we need a blueprint that will help us identify how we’re going to get there.

Resolution #1: Get Healthier

Resolution #2: Move More
We can’t help all of the sitting we do today. It’s a major part of working in any office setting. Thanks to technology, we are sitting more than ever before – it’s not your fault. However, you should make it a goal to move more in 2020. Even if that means getting up from your desk once every hour, do it. Set timers on your phone or download apps that remind you to start moving (or get a FitBit).
Resolution #3: Get Organized
Marie Kondo was onto something when she suggested that cleaning our homes, closets, etc. and getting rid of “stuff” actually makes us happier. It’s true, psychologically, we are happier when we feel organized and on top of everything in our lives. Even if you want to start small, organizing your home and maybe your workout schedule will have you feeling happier instantly.
Resolution #4: Feed Your Joy
What makes you happy? Is it cooking a big meal for your family? Is it going for a long run? Is it painting a new flower on your backyard patio? Whatever makes you happy, make more time for it. It’s important to feed your personal joy. It’s what keeps you going during those hard and taxing times in our lives, which is why you need to reward your mind and body, too. You deserve it.
