What Kind of Swimsuit Should I Wear for My Body Type?

The female body comes in all shapes and sizes, which is what makes a woman’s natural aura and appearance so alluring. Your body is uniquely your own, making it a beautiful sight that you should embrace and cherish. Every curve of your body is what sets you apart from the competition and makes you a person that others will never forget.

Here in Hawaii, we celebrate every kind of female form. We want you to feel beautiful in the skin you’re in, which is why at Fused Hawaii we want to help you LOVE your body type. We want to empower you to be confident, happy, and filled with joy when you’re outside, in the sun, or in the surf. (More about female empowerment later, but for now, why not join our AMAZING COMMUNITY 'Empowered by Fused Hawaii Facebook Group' for incredible support from over 70k bikini loving, positive females).

Because we are so passionate about helping every woman feel confident and empowered in their own skin, and we LOVE swimwear, we’re going to provide you with some helpful information in our SWIMSUIT FOR BODY TYPE GUIDE.

Swimsuit For Body Type Guide

  • Small Chests: Our Kohanaiki Bikini Top was designed with an adjustable band size so you can change it to fit you and your frame. It’s a top that can change and shift to fit your perfect body, just exactly the way it was made. Additionally, looking for bikini tops with a v-neck that give the illusion of cleavage are great additions to your bathing suit wardrobe.

  • Big Breasted Women: On the flip side, there is an entire market of women who struggle to shop for bathing suits every year because their chests are too big for conventional products. For the girls with bigger chests, avoid bikini tops with padding. Instead, look for bikini tops with no underwire, which can cut into your skin, but rather, thicker straps. We create larger, thicker straps to accommodate you and help you feel as comfortable as possible. With more support and lift, feel naturally gorgeous inside and out. (for more information about bikini's for big breasted women, check out our recently article "How To Choose The Best Bikini For Big Breasted Women" ).

  • Broad Shoulders: Some women have naturally larger shoulders than others, which is why you’ll want to balance those shoulders out in your swimsuit appearance. One great way to do this is to opt for fun prints and patterns. You can also rock an asymmetrical neckline which will attract attention to the middle of your chest and not the side.

  • Flat Butt: Some women have bigger butts than others, which is why you will want to wear a bikini bottom that accentuates your current buttocks situation. If you have a small butt, opting for a bikini with more lifted look. Our Kona Bikini Bottom can do just that, providing a lifted appearance that will make you feel confident in the skin you’re in.

  • Curvy Behind: Lastly, what about the ladies with a bigger behind? Less is more when it comes to curvy behinds – you want to accentuate your assets. Don’t detract from the curviness that you’ve been born with; instead, let it do all the talking. Big butts are viewed as beautiful today – why cover them up? Never feel like you need to hide your body.
