The role of being a Mom and an Entrepreneur may sound daunting. That's because it is. The everyday hustle and balancing act of responsibilities have taught me to appreciate the little things in life that I used to take for granted. Like being able to sleep throughout the night undisturbed or the beauty of typing on your laptop without a child crawling over your keyboard. Appreciation for these little things has become the building blocks of who I am today.
The year I started Fused Hawaii I discovered I was pregnant with my first child. I was 23 years old and filled with Joy! Life continued to change and my company evolved throughout the process. In March of 2014, I had my second child. Eight months after her birth I decided to open up the doors to my first brick and mortar shop in Kailua-Kona Hawaii. I know it sounds a little crazy. Although in my defense, I have been told after having kids your mom-brain kicks in and your decision-making process is a little faulty. I'm not going to lie to you, the road was rough. The path less traveled was rocky and unpaved. I have learned that the rough paths once overcome are the journeys in life that defined me the most
